Donation of Shoes
The children with their new shoes on.
We are very grateful for the donation of leather shoes for school. The shoes were donated by Mrs. Shirlene Prasad from India. Mrs. Prasad is a born Namibian, but it lives in India now. She heard of Children Sanctuary Namibia and reached out to us. We are grateful to Mrs Prasad for her generous gift, just in time for the winter months.
These tailor-made shoes that last longer than normal shoes, were delivered by Mr. Epson, who is a police officer by profession. He and his son traveled 245 kilometres on a motorbike to deliver the parcel of shoes. We deeply appreciate his support by travelling so far to deliver this big gift.

Water heater
Through the generous support of our friends in Switzerland we were able to build water heater. This was done in time for the cold winter months. The water is heated in a tank by using firewood. Mr. Willy did the building of the structure and then connected it to the ablution unit.

Fundraising effort by Mrs Böhlke
Our sincere gratitude goes to Mrs Boehlke for her generous support in the efforts to raise funds for our organization. She donated all the materials and made beautiful jewelry which we were able to sell for a good price. Thus far we have generated 5 350 N$ and we are very happy about this generous source of income.
